Learn to drive Class 2 and 4 trucks, operate forklifts and gain the necessary licences and endorsements such as for dangerous goods. Do practical driving tests. Practise loading and unloading. If you already hold a Class 2 licence, there’s the additional opportunity to obtain a Class 5 licence.

This programme assists students in gaining the necessary driving licenses, together with the knowledge and skills, to work safely as a road transport operator.

Entry criteria

Must have held a Class 1 full driver's licence for minimum of six months and can meet the requirements of the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) DL9 Medical Certificate.
