Once you have decided on your programme of study, apply online or download an application form. Some programmes require you to complete an additional information form. Please check with us for further details. You will need to provide proof of your identity and residency. If you are applying to enrol in person, please bring your birth certificate or passport with you. We will photocopy and return it to you. If you are applying online or posting your application, please send verified copies of your documents. Please do not send originals. A verified copy is a photocopy of the original document that has been signed by a solicitor, Justice of the Peace (JP) or kaumātua as being a true copy of the original. Return your completed form to:
It is best to apply early as places are limited. However, late applications may still be accepted if there is space available on the programme.
We will assess your application. If you are required to attend an interview or audition, we will contact you to arrange a time and date. Once your application is approved we will send you a letter offering you a place on the programme. Please sign and return the confirmation of study to secure your place.
Ensure your fees are paid before your course starts. If you are intending to pay by student loan, apply to StudyLink at www.studylink.govt.nz as soon as possible.
Step 5 - Student ID Card
Once your enrolment has been completed, visit Information & Enrolment at the Porirua campus to be issued with a student ID card. You will need an ID card to print, photocopy, access the library, the computer networks and other student support services.
