Our on-site licensed training restaurant is purpose-built to train our students to the highest industry standard
Students provide cáfe mornings, lunches, dinners and events throughout the academic year to paying customers. This practical, hands-on experience ensures they are ready for work and also provides a fantastic opportunity for the public to enjoy a quality dining experience at a reduced price. Production lunches and dinners run throughout the year. Please note that payment is required at time of booking.
Opened in 1991 as The Estuary, Te Onepu at the Porirua campus is our longest running training restaurant. It provides regular cáfe mornings for staff and students, and hosts production lunches and dinners throughout the year.

Global Cuisine Buffet Dinner - Thursdays 1 and 8 March at 6.00pm, $25pp SOLD OUT
Diploma in Cookery students are tasked with researching a chosen country, ordering ingredients then will prepare and serve the dish they have created.
Buffet Dinner - Friday 16 March at 6.00pm, $30pp SOLD OUT

A multi-course, small portion, tasting set menu of fine dining foods and modern cookery techniques. Places are limited.
